The PST Research Group offers customised solutions and detailed research in areas of voice technology implementation. We work closely with industry players in health through to education and have the ability to identify key technology solution benefits and gains to be made.

Our current health solutions involve the implementation of a voice guiding system to help automate the decision support processes of a clinician in a hospital environment. Such a system streamlines the provision of information into the electronic record system while assisting both the patient and the doctor with automating documentation processes. Our current groundwork in this area can be found in the research section.

Our education solution involves the implementation of a voice assisted phoneme based marking system for automating the evaluation of English pronunciation tests. The aim of this was to realise significant cost and time efficiencies for over 200+ students sitting monthly English exams in a large overseas education institution.
